Ajit Mishra practises in the area of corporate law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. He is dual qualified in India and England & Wales and has a strong focus on the Indian market. Ajit advises clients on complex cross border transactions involving India, the UK and Europe, bringing deep insight into both common law and Indian legal frameworks. He advises on both domestic and international transactions and acts for clients across a broad range of sectors, including retail, healthcare, education, energy and media. Ajit is widely recognised in the Indian and British legal markets for his ability to integrate legal, regulatory and commercial considerations in international transactions.

In addition to his transactional practice, Ajit holds several prominent leadership and policy roles. He is Chair of the Indian Law Centre at Queen Mary University of London, Chair of the UK India Legal Partnership, and Chairman of the International M&A Sub committee at the Confederation of Indian Industries, reflecting his active role in shaping legal and commercial engagement between India and the UK.
