Giulia is a Lawyer in the Finance department, with a particular focus on Restructuring & Insolvency, and has been working at the Rome office since 2020.
Giulia specializes in insolvency procedures and, more generally, in corporate crisis resolution, assisting leading national and international clients on both contentious and out-of-court matters.
She has developed expertise in corporate crisis law, both from the debtor's and creditor's perspectives, having specialized in assisting distressed companies as well as creditors and investors within the framework of corporate crises and, more broadly, crisis management mechanisms. She also provides legal advice on insolvency and litigation aspects related to large and complex corporate transactions.
Furthermore, Giulia has gained significant experience in commercial and corporate law, having handled disputes involving liability actions against directors and/or supervisory bodies, including in connection with bankruptcy-related misconduct, as well as liability claims for breaches of provisions in sale agreements.
Her practice also includes arbitration management and legal opinions on bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial law.
Before joining DLA Piper in 2020, Giulia worked at a leading Italian law firm and, at the same time, gained experience at the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Auditors, working alongside a magistrate.
