Ellen Pruitt

Ellen Pruitt focuses her practice in the area of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, complex collaborations, joint ventures, corporate structuring and financings in a variety of industries. She has experience advising clients extending throughout the United States, Europe and Asia ranging from multinational bio-pharmaceutical and device companies to start-up biotechs and emerging tech companies.

In addition, Ellen regularly represents life sciences companies in their operational matters, such as research and license arrangements between industry and academic institutions.

Ellen is an alumnus of DLA Piper’s Krantz Fellowship, which allowed her to spend her first year as an associate working exclusively on pro bono matters. Ellen maintains an active pro bono practice advising nonprofit organizations.
