Niranjanaa is an employment and investigations lawyer with multi jurisdictional experience. She advises public and private sector employers, including multinational organisations, on complex employment and health and safety matters such as restructures, investigations, disciplinary processes, personal grievances and employment litigation. She has appeared before courts and tribunals in New Zealand and Singapore.

Her practice spans the full employment lifecycle, including employment documentation, performance management, terminations, union engagement and collective bargaining.

She regularly supports organisations through reorganisations and reductions in force, and advises on employment risks arising in corporate transactions.

Niranjanaa has assisted multinational clients on cross border workforce matters across Asia Pacific jurisdictions, including employee transfer arrangements and post transaction integration issues. She has also acted on employment disputes and investigation matters involving senior employees.

  • Advised a Crown Entity in a high profile litigation against a formal employee across both the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court*
  • Assisted on high-profile cross border due diligences from an employment perspective, including on transfer processes in an asset or share transfer*
