EXPERIENCE

  • Acting for a car dealership conglomerate in respect of multiple re-development, refurbishment and construction projects across the United Kingdom. Lydia is responsible for the day to day management of this client and negotiated and drafted JCT standard forms of contract and bespoke consultant appointment documents.
  • Acting for a major developer in the student accomodation sector on a number of projects including the acquisition of a large ongoing development. Lydia carried out due diligence on all of the construction documents and produced a construction report dealing with the documents in respect of the acquisition.
  • Acting for a number of major developers in the consumer, hotel and retail sector. Lydia drafted the building contract and consultant appointment documents, and produced a comprehensive overview report on a suite of construction documents in respect of the acquisition of and subsequent refurbishment works to a major development in Scotland.
  • Acting for a development client in the warehousing sector, and providing all aspects of construction input into a number of local projects. Lydia has also assisted the client in preparing, and maintaining, a suite of template construction documents, providing ad-hoc construction advice and updates on relevant matters and training sessions.
