Erin Rivera is an aviation attorney with a specialized focus on FAA regulations. He offers unique insights from his tenure as a former Regulatory Attorney and Special Advisor to the FAA Chief Counsel, where he provided strategic insights on aviation policy, regulations, and emerging technologies. Additionally, he worked with FAA rulemaking teams to develop new federal aviation regulations for powered-lift operations, pilot training, and licensing.

In his previous role with a German-based aerospace startup, Erin was responsible for public policy initiatives and projects to secure EASA and FAA regulatory approvals for eVTOL aircraft and commercial air taxi operations.

Currently, Erin serves as the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) program chair for the ABA Air & Space Forum, where he engages with industry leaders on the latest trends in UAS and AAM developments and regulations. Additionally, Erin is a licensed pilot, a trained air accident investigator, and has served as a helicopter flight engineer in the US Air Force.
