Rik specializes in all aspects of corporate law, in particular mergers and acquisitions and restructurings.
Before starting his studies in law, he first obtained a bachelor’s degree in applied economic sciences with a specialization in accountancy and finance, after which he completed the master’s program in Economics, Law and Business studies.
He then went on to study law at KU Leuven. He acquired his master’s degree in law with distinction, with a specialization in economic and European law.
