Matt Servies focuses his practice on counseling private equity funds, entrepreneurs and public companies on the federal and state income tax issues that arise in a wide variety of transactions. Matt is skilled in advising on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, partnership matters, fund formation and other significant transactions. He also provides practical and comprehensive legal counsel regarding inbound and outbound investment structuring, as well as works with entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals on the business and tax-related legal aspects of company exit strategies, and business succession objectives that are customized to the individual needs of his client. In the past ten years, Matt has provided tax counsel on nearly 400 transactions.
