Natalie Shoesmith is an Associate in DLA Piper's Finance Projects and Restructuring Group.

Natalie advises on infrastructure projects and procurement law, focusing on complex commercial contracts, and large scale PPP and PFI infrastructure transactions. Natalie advises procuring authorities, sponsors, funders and key supply chain members.

Natalie has experience across a wide range of sectors including transport (road and bridges), social infrastructure (health and education) and energy (including renewable energy, energy efficiency and nuclear). In respect of renewable energy, Natalie has an interest in Geothermal energy and has presented externally on how to unlock the UK's Geothermal Opportunity.

Natalie advises throughout the lifecycle of a project, from feasibility and procurement to operational matters, distressed assets and, handback and expiry.

Natalie has experience coordinating completions, whether via a completion meeting or virtual completion. Natalie regularly manages post completion matters following financial close.
