Joseph Soifer

Joseph (Joe) has a general corporate law practice with a focus on corporate finance, corporation ‎reorganizations, and mergers and acquisitions.‎

Joe has experience representing clients in a wide range of corporate matters including assisting clients in ‎Canada and abroad with private placement issuances, corporate reorganizations, and mergers and ‎acquisitions, across a wide range of industries. He has also assisted Canadian startups in respect of their ‎seed and early-stage financings.‎

Joe acquired his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, and has familiarity with the business-law ‎frameworks in Denmark and the Netherlands, having studied on academic exchanges at both the University ‎of Copenhagen in Denmark and University College Utrecht in the Netherlands.‎

During law school, Joe sat on the executive committee for the University of Alberta Law Students’ ‎Association and represented the Faculty of Law on an inter-faculty university council.‎
