Ryan is an employment lawyer, with more than 10 years' experience advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. Ryan works with clients from a range of different sectors.

Ryan helps clients with employment litigation, business restructures, TUPE advice, negotiation of senior executive agreements, international projects and day-to-day employment matters.

Ryan regularly delivers training to clients at events and seminars.

EXPERIENCE

  • Managed the delivery of regular, comprehensive updates to certain clients regarding the global employment implications of COVID-19 restrictions.
  • Advised on the employment aspects of numerous public sector outsourcing projects.  
  • Led a number of multi-jurisdictional projects covering issues such as varying employment terms, disciplinary practices and discrimination laws.
  • Successfully defended a number of employment tribunal claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing amongst others.
  • Undertook two secondments to a major global technology company, working alongside the client's employment counsel.
