EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive landlord and tenant asset management work for a major global real estate investment fund across its asset management portfolio, lease negotiations, surrenders, licences and precedent development. The work required bespoke drafting and a thorough understanding of the client's operational requirements. Received specific client recognition for the quality of the work, including being praised in a client meeting for "excellent precedent work".
  • Acting as part of the due diligence team on the acquisition and financing of a portfolio of solar and battery storage projects across England, including reviewing title documentation, preparing real estate due diligence reports, identifying red-flag issues and raising detailed property enquiries across multiple project sites.
  • Advising Elgin Energy on a range of renewable energy developments, including preparing reports on title for proposed solar farm and battery storage projects and undertaking research on agricultural tenancies and advising on land rights required for solar and battery storage developments.
  • Supporting the real estate workstream on a major refinancing of a portfolio of shopping centres in England, including management of property due diligence requirements, title and lease reviews, completion deliverables and lender reporting.
  • Acting on an ongoing asset management programme for Sytner Group across multiple dealership sites. Responsibilities included managing transactions, coordinating with clients and counterparties, drafting transaction documentation and providing strategic property support on dealership acquisitions and disposals.
  • Advising major heat network player on infrastructure projects, including due diligence on land rights, preparation of interactive site plans, and analysis of rights required for pipeline routes and energy centre developments.
