Szymon Świderski advises and represents companies, institutions and individuals in all areas of white-collar criminal law and in compliance matters. Szymon was a member of the defense team in various large-scale white-collar cases and represented his clients before parliamentary committees of inquiry. He offers his clients in-depth knowledge of criminal law and criminal procedure law. He is a co-author of the renowned Vienna Commentaries on the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure. Szymon publishes regularly on topics in his area of competence.

Prior Experience

Before joining DLA Piper, Szymon Świderski worked in renowned law firms in Vienna.

Before being admitted to the bar, he worked for many years as a research assistant at the Institute for Criminal Sciences at the University of Göttingen in Germany.

He was also a research assistant at the Austrian Supreme Court.
