Joséphine Tessmar regularly represents Swedish and international borrowers, banks, debt funds and other finance providers as well as equity investors. She works mainly with leveraged- and acquisition finance, real estate finance and project finance (primarily wind). She also has experience of capital market transactions, such as bond issues.

In addition, Joséphine is very active in the Corporate team where she works regularly with M&A, investments and general corporate and commercial issues and in the Real Estate team where she works mainly with real estate M&A and real estate property-related investments/sales.

Joséphine spent the summer of 2016 on secondment at DLA Piper's offices in New York.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advised the property fund manager, Savills Investment Management, on the establishment of its new fund Nordic Fund III – Retail, and the fund's subsequent acquisition of four retail parks in Haparanda, Borlänge, Uppsala and Uddevalla in Sweden from IKEA Centres as well as on the financing of the acquisition
  • Advised Moment Group, one of the leading companies within the entertainment industry in the Nordics and listed on Nasdaq First North, in connection with its issue of non-secured bond of SEK200 million
  • Advised the Swedish company, Stillfront Group AB, in connection with its bond financing of its acquisition of Hamburg-based Goodgame Studios
  • Advised U Global Holding AB on the sale of Universum (global leader in employer branding) to the online job platform StepStone, a company of Axel Springer SE U Global Holding AB
  • Advised OX2 on its sale of the 357 MW wind farm to Aquila Capital, a leading European manager of alternative investments
  • Advised NORD/LB on the project financing of a 46.8MW (13 turbine) wind farm site in Sweden. The sponsor is Marguerite Fund
