Anna Silvia Tinelli

Anna Silvia Tinelli is a licensed attorney in both Italy and the United States. As an associate in the New York office, she focuses on international tax law, advising U.S.- and foreign-based multinational clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border tax matters. Anna works closely with U.S. and foreign tax and corporate counsel to design and implement corporate reorganizations and structured transactions tailored to achieve client objectives.

Anna also advises multinational and closely held companies on qualification for, and transferability of, energy tax credits.

Prior to joining the firm's New York office, Anna practiced as an Italian tax lawyer at DLA Piper in Rome for several years. Born and raised in Rome, she graduated with honors from LUISS Guido Carli University before obtaining her LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where she broadened her tax practice to encompass U.S. federal taxation.

Anna is an active member of the DLA Piper Arts Law sector, contributing to initiatives at the intersection of law and the arts. She has experience advising nonprofit organizations, foundations, and cultural institutions on legal and tax matters.
