Andra has 19 years of experience advising domestic and international employers on transactional and non-transactional employment matters and related cross-practice issues. She has been a member of DLA Piper’s Romanian team since its establishment in 2008. Building on her background in Finance & Projects and transactional work, she advises clients across sectors including Technology and FinTech, Industrials, Life Sciences, and Media, Sport & Entertainment.

Andra advises on flexible working arrangements, working time and on-call arrangements, unlimited holiday schemes, disciplinary matters and workplace investigations, collective agreements, and negotiations with employee representative bodies. Her work also covers individual and collective workforce restructurings and employment disputes, including matters involving conflict-of-laws issues and wider employment implications.

Her transactional employment work includes outsourcing and rebadging programmes, the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, transfers of undertakings and employment matters arising from acqui-hire transactions.

Andra also focuses on intellectual property and data privacy in the employment context, employee talent protection and retention during business transformation and flexible working projects, whistleblower protection arrangements and policies, and regulatory matters relating to the provision of recruitment services.
