Celena Varela focuses her practice on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
She joined DLA Piper Argentina in 2023, when she was halfway through her university studies. During this time, Celena worked as a paralegal in the corporate law department while continuing her studies. As a university student, Celena participated in international competitions representing the University of Buenos Aires in the 32nd edition of the Willem C. Vis Moot, receiving training in international commercial arbitration. Celena completed her law degree in the business law orientation in 2025.
Prior joining DLA Piper Argentina, she worked in the legal secretariat of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, where her training focused on administrative and regulatory law.
