Raphaël Weiss

Senior Associate
About

Raphaël is a French-qualified Senior Associate based in our London office, with a focus on project development and project finance.

He has experience advising sponsors, lenders, and public entities on complex projects across Europe, the Middle East, and francophone Africa.

His practice covers the negotiation of key project and commercial agreements — including PPPs, joint ventures, offtake, EPC, O&M, and LTSA agreements — across the development, financing, and acquisition phases of large-scale projects.

Raphaël’s international breadth of experience means that he has a strong grasp of the commercial and legal issues that typically arise for sponsors, bidders, states, and lenders in complex project environments.

He is particularly attuned to the challenges of structuring bankable transactions, managing stakeholder expectations, and navigating local legal frameworks in developing and emerging markets.
