Emily Weston is an ambitious Associate practising employment law. She provides clear and pragmatic employment law advice to a wide range of clients across several key sectors including hospitality and leisure, consumer goods, food and retail and industrials.

Emily has assisted listed and household-name companies with hiring, firing and managing staff and solving employment law issues. She has particular experience in advising on day-to-day HR and employment law issues and managing Employment Tribunal litigation.

Emily regularly speaks and writes on employment law topics and delivers training to HR professionals, in-house legal experts, managers and directors. She also assists with several pro-bono and mentoring projects.

  • Spent time on secondment to a leading UK airline and worked with its legal and HR teams to provide a wide range of employment advice, including compliance advice regarding the introduction of the GDPR, strategic and operational advice on several key restructures and day-to-day employment law advice.
  • Worked with several construction companies and house-builders as their day-to-day contact for HR and employment law issues and managed their employment litigation.
  • Acted for a large outdoors retailer for several years as their day-to-day contact for HR and employment law issues. Emily developed a close relationship with the senior leadership team.
