His clients span across a diverse range of industries, including financial services, technology, manufacturing, retail, software, engineering and artificial intelligence sectors. He regularly assists multinational companies with the localisation of employment documents, senior executive appointments and departures, internal investigations into employee fraud or misconduct, multi-jurisdictional retrenchment exercises, and cross-border employment compliance.

  • Advised a leading global retail brand in an internal misconduct and fraud investigation involving falsified medical certificates. Provided strategic guidance on the requirements for summary dismissal, prepared all termination-related documentation, and drafted demand correspondence to recover outstanding salary payments.*
  • Advised multinational corporations – ranging from global financial institutions to investment firms – on the drafting and review of employment contracts for local hires, C-suite personnel, and senior executives, including advice on termination provisions, restrictive covenants, and equity and stock option arrangements.*
  • Advised a United Kingdom–based real estate investment firm on the enforceability of restrictive covenants preventing the recruitment of a senior employee into local operations in Singapore.*
  • Advised a German multinational confectionery manufacturer on the legal requirements for termination and the appropriate strategy to manage the exit of its managing director following a business decision that resulted in significant financial losses.*

  • Assisting an American specialty chemicals manufacturer with a comprehensive overhaul of its local employment contracts and handbook, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment law and advising on best practices to minimize employee disputes.
  • Advising an artificial intelligence company on its recruitment of foreign employees in Singapore, including guidance on immigration requirements and work pass application processes.
  • Assisting an American quantitative trading firm with the review and updating of its Singapore-office's parental leave policies to align with recently enacted parental leave entitlements.
  • Advising a NASDAQ-listed American company on a large-scale overhaul of employee classifications and role restructuring, including the updating of employment documentation, best practices for modifying existing employment contracts, and strategies to minimise and navigate the risk of employee complaints.
