About

Federico is a passionate advisor on structured finance, mostly in the renewable energy and real estate areas. He has a wide experience in leverage finance, project financing, hybrid financing (banking debt and bond issuance), alternative lending and any other structure from time to time used in the relevant markets.

Lawyer and (formerly) chartered accountant, he offers to the clients a wider approach in analyzing and addressing issues relating to any transactions.

He is now focusing on matters related to ESG and climate change, specifically with reference to offshore wind farms, biofuels, electric power storage, hydrogen, green financing.

  • Assistance to the lenders in the 170 mio. refinancing relating to a photovoltaic portfolio owned by a fund managed by Basalt Infrastructure Partners - 73 plants, 48 SPVs, 70 MWs.
  • Assistance to the lenders (Natixis, Unicredit, Generali Global Infrastructure) in the 400 mio. financing to a subsidiary of Obton in the context of the acquisition of a photovoltaic portfolio in Italy.
  • Assistance to BayernLB in the green loan financing for 60 mio. to Antirion as manager of Antirion Global - Comparto Core in relation to the acquisition of certain properties in Milan.
  • Assistance to ING in the 28.5 mio. green loan financing to Kervis SGR as manager of a Green Oak logistic fund in relation to two logistic properties in Italy.
  • Assistance to Prelios SGR as manager of the Hines fund Hefv Milan 1 in the 136 mio. financing (UniCredit, General Real Estate Debt Investment Fund and Banco BPM) for the acquisition and refurbishment of the iconic Torre Velasca in Milan.
  • Assistance to the lenders (Natixis, MPS Capital Services) in the 72 mio project financing to Fortore Energia and related 24 mio. acquisition financing to the controlling entity, in the context of the refinancing of a 134 MW wind portfolio.
  • Assistance to the Feltrinelli Group in the reorganization and rationalisation of the group financial indebtdness (ca. 300 mio.) with UniCredit, Intesa SanPaolo, BNL, Creval and Banco BPM.
  • Assistance to the Montanari shipping group in the financial debt restructuring towards a number of lenders.
  • Assistance to Librerie Feltrinelli in the 44 mio. financing (UniCredit, Intesa SanPaolo, Banco BPM, BNL) accompanied by a SACE guarantee.
