Katarzyna Wacławek has several years of experience in the area of finance law, and also has extensive knowledge of real estate law and M&A transactions. She focuses on structuring and negotiating loan agreements, security packages, fulfilment and verification of conditions for drawdown and security registrations.

She advises Polish and financial institutions and borrowers in the financing and refinancing of projects, as well as both parties to transactions concerning the acquisition of companies or real property (including asset deals and share transactions). In addition, she has experience in coordinating teams in the preparing of financial and real estate due diligence reports.

Katarzyna also deals with regulatory issues in the financial sector, advising on the standardisation of internal documents and structured banking products. Aside from her commercial experience, she is involved in a prestigious project related to the creation of a Polish standardised syndicated facility agreement (based on the recommended form of the facility agreement produced by the Loan Market Association) which will be recommended by the Association of Polish Banks (Związek Banków Polskich) to its members.
