Since joining DLA Piper, Paula Anghel's employment practice has focused on advising on a regular basis international and domestic clients on the employment aspects of their operations, including complex investigations and disciplinary cases, various cases of employment termination, including redundancy or mutually agreed exits, collective agreements and employee representative/social dialogue, as well as various employer/employee rights including compensations and benefits, such as equity/share profit incentive plans or tax exemptions. She has also worked on transactional matters, on complex transfers of undertaking, and also on specific projects on highly particular regulatory matters (including licensing for performing particular activities on the Romanian market).

Paula is also experienced in banking and finance projects, providing advice on the borrower's side and being involved in various financings, including significant real estate.

Paula' s main focused sectors are Technology and Life Sciences.

Paula is actively involved in pro bono and fundraising work, as part of our firm's CSR activity, partnering with UNICEF and several other NGOs in projects with local / global level impact (such UNICEF Global Challenge in Ethiopia).
