Mikhail Bychikhin’s practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial disputes. He regularly advises clients on arbitration matters and acts both in international arbitrations – under the rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (ICAC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – and litigations, with a special focus on energy and natural resources sector.

Mikhail has acted in high-value arbitrations and litigations covering a variety of legal and factual issues, including price and tariff reviews, the application of EU law and international treaties. He has also represented clients in commercial, IP, insolvency, customs and regulatory disputes throughout Russia.

In addition, Mikhail advises (within international teams) clients on US and EU sanction compliance issues and the countermeasures adopted in Russia.
