NSPCC Child Protection Report 2015

Pro Bono Update

The NSPCC Helpline is a telephone and online service for adults who are concerned about the welfare of a child or young person. It provides adults with advice, guidance and support, and can take action on their behalf if they have concerns about a child who is either being abused or is at risk of abuse. If there are strong concerns about the safety or the welfare of a child, the matter is forwarded to social services or the police to investigate and take appropriate action. We were instructed to undertake research on the child protection legislation and practice in other countries that the Helpline liaise with.
