We believe it is part of our role to encourage informed debate and discussion about the big issues facing our clients and to help identify practical solutions. Five years ago, we recognised that the precarious state of trust was one of the most hotly debated and problematic issues of our times, dominating conversation around the boardroom tables of businesses in the UK and across the world. We therefore embarked on a long term, in-depth research programme with the aim of helping to rebuild trust in business.
Working in collaboration with The Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation at Saïd Business School and Populus, the research has focused on the nature and causes of the “trust deficit” and explored insights from business, politics and the media. The results of our collaboration are below.
We also established a Trust Advisory Panel chaired by Baroness Wheatcroft. Their contributions to the new emerging thinking in this critically important area have been of enormous value to the project and its results.
