DLA Piper advises AXA IM Alts on the lease of office space in the "Taurus" building to Citigroup

DLA Piper has advised AXA IM Alts on the lease of more than 10,000 sqm office space in the building "Taurus" located in Frankfurt for the new German headquarters of Citigroup (Citi). In the summer of 2024, Citi is planning to move into the new office space directly opposite the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Börsenplatz.

The office and commercial building with eight floors comprises a total of around 15,000 sqm rental space. The modern space utilization concept on six floors enables Citi employees to work flexibly according to their tasks at hand. The ground and second floors will also house retail and catering outlets. The upper floors, including two roof terraces and courtyards, will be exclusively available to Citi.

Project developer AXA IM Alts, which owns the building on behalf of clients, is pursuing a concept that encompasses all aspects of state-of-the-art sustainable building development and management. With measures such as rainwater recovery, energy-saving lighting and green roofs, AXA IM Alts is aiming for a correspondingly high LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
