Karine Disdier-Mikus is a European trademark and design attorney and French intellectual property attorney, she has more than 15 years of experience in trademark, design and copyright law, as well as in trademark and design management portfolio, and brand enforcement globally, for instance through litigation and Customs procedures.

Member of the Paris Bar, she advises French or international companies on any issues relating to trademarks, designs, copyright, domain names, unfair competition, infringement, franchising/licensing in France and worldwide. She is highly skilled in European and French trademark laws, and due to her international education, she provides sound and pragmatic advices using both Common law and civil laws principles and has developed deep knowledge of international treaties (Paris/Berne Conventions, TRIPS, Madrid protocol and agreement, etc.) and local IPR legislations worldwide. Karine can act as representatives before the European Trademark Office (EUIPO), World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) and French trademark Offices.

Karine also keeps on assisting clients in managing their trademark/design portfolio worldwide and in organizing related filing and innovative strategies, providing global risks analysis and high value advice in these areas during cross-border merger and acquisition transactions.
