Paul has over 20 years' experience as a lawyer including first-hand experience of working both in Brussels and Westminster. His professional background makes him uniquely placed to navigate clients through the complexities of Brexit.

He is a Legal Director and Brexit Director in DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory group, complementing its existing Government Affairs, Trade and Regulatory capabilities. He remains a door tenant at the specialist EU and environmental law barristers' chambers, Francis Taylor Building, where he last practiced.

Paul joined DLA Piper in April 2017, where he advised businesses, public sector organisations and States on the implications of Brexit, and how best to manage them.
