Robert’s recent experience includes:
Advised private equity firm Sun European Partners on the acquisition of Yorkshire headquartered premium glass bottle manufacturer Allied Glass for an enterprise value of circa GBP180 million.
Advised Mothercare PLC on the sale of the business and assets of Early Learning Centre Limited to TEAL Brands Limited, a part of The Entertainer group of companies, for a total consideration of GBP13.5 million.
Advised BrewDog PLC on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Draft House Holding Limited.
Advised VEON in relation to (i) the USD136 million tax settlement between (formerly) Egyptian listed Global Telecom Holding S.A.E. (GTH) and the Egyptian Tax Authority; (ii) VEON's mandatory tender offer to acquire the remainder of GTH's shares and subsequent delisting of GTH; and (iii) VEON's acquisition of substantially all of GTH's operating assets in Bangladesh (USD295 million) and Pakistan (USD1.99 billion).
Advised leading global media business on multiple international corporate reorganisations, including a GBP3.5 billion business and asset transfer into the United Kingdom.
Advised Ecolab Inc. on the takeover of Bioquell PLC by way of a Court Sanctioned Scheme of Arrangement, for a total consideration of GBP141 million.
Advised RTP Global on its Series A investment into Cuvva, a UK InsureTech company.
