Owen Knight is an Associate in DLA Piper’s Energy and Infrastructure Projects Group. Owen has experience advising both the private and public sector on major infrastructure projects and various commercial contracts and structuring issues. These include all stages of high-value complex PPP/PFI and PF2 projects across the defence, education, healthcare, social infrastructure, transport, and utilities sectors.

He has developed particular experience advising sponsors and project companies on operational issues and major variations associated with distressed projects. He has notably advised InfraRed and John Laing on a cross-portfolio basis following the Carillion liquidation in 2018. Owen provides strategic commercial and legal advice, often working closely with clients through both investment committee and lender approvals processes to take matters forward to completion.
