Peter Lowe is a non-contentious construction lawyer and is experienced in the drafting and negotiation of building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties and other ancillary documents, including bonds, parent company guarantees, development agreements and agreements for lease.

Peter has experience of drafting and negotiating development management agreements, development funding agreements and promote agreements.

Peter has advised all sectors of the construction industry including developers, funders, and end-user occupiers and has acted on many high-profile projects throughout his career.

  • Advising on various phases of an 85 acre regeneration scheme at Wembley, London comprising over 8 million sqft of mixed use development to provide 7,000 new homes as well as retail, leisure facilities, offices and parkland
  • Advising a developer on a 480,000 sqft mixed use development in London to provide modern grade A office accommodation and prime retail offering
  • Acting for a developer on a £225 million public land initiative regeneration project in Greenwich to build 650 private and affordable residential units, a leisure centre, a health centre and substantial retail and commercial space
  • Advising WeWork in connection with the construction and fitting-out of its premises across the UK
  • Acting for various student accommodation developers in connection with the construction of their schemes across the UK, ranging in size from 200 beds to over 1000 beds
  • Advising a developer on the redevelopment of a grade II listed former motor factory and showroom in London into the new 125,000 sqft European headquarters for a customer science company
  • Acting for a large pharmaceutical company in connection with the construction of its new global headquarters and R&D facility in Cambridge
  • Advising house builders on residential and mixed-use projects, including a ranging a 2,000 unit scheme in Bath
  • Advising on the procurement and construction contracts for the Francis Crick Institute, a £600 million R&D facility at St Pancras, London
