EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Agility Trains, a consortium comprising Hitachi and John Laing, for the multi-award winning GBP5.7 billion Intercity Express PPP Programme for the replacement of rolling stock and services for the Great Western Mainline and East Coast Mainline routes.
  • Advising Hitachi on its successful bid for the GBP500 million replacement of rolling stock project for the East Midlands Line with Abellio.
  • Advising Department for Transport in connection with the provision of Emergency Measures Agreements for UK rail operators in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Advising the consortium of VINCI Concessions, VINCI Highways, Implenia and Acciona on its bid for the RV 555 Sotrasambandet PPP project (the Sotra Connection), the largest transport project in Norway. Project value: NOK 10 billion.
  • Advising Steward Healthcare on the restructuring and financing of the Karin Grech, Gozo, and St Luke’s Hospital PPP Projects in Malta for the construction and/or refurbishment of these hospitals in Malta.
  • Advising Credit Suisse Energy Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of an 80% stake in Finnish state owned utility company Fortum’s Nordic wind portfolio – which includes assets in Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
  • Advising Manchester Combined Authority in connection with the reprocurement of the Manchester Waste Project.
  • Advising a leading broadband infrastructure company in connection with the project financing of subsea cabling assets across West Africa.
