  • Advising a global entertainments company on a number of its major sourcing transactions, including its first ever outsourcing of customer catering facilities in one of its UK attractions and the outsourcing of its guest photography services across sites in London.
  • Advising a global bank on the commercial remodelling of a highly complex mainframe technology agreement, in a deal worth in excess of GBP500 million and also requiring advice from Hong Kong and the US. The project involved particularly pressing timescales, with less than a week from instruction to signing, due to the business critical nature of the project, which had c-suite visibility throughout.
  • Acting for Hain Celestial on the sale of Tilda, a premium Basmati and speciality rice brand, to Ebro Foods S.A. for USD345 million, as part of a cross-practice DLA Piper deal team. The sale formed part of Hain’s transformational plan to simplify its portfolio, strengthen its core capabilities and expand margins and cash flow.
  • Acting for a number of major financial services organisations on the outsourcing of their ATM operations and services in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
  • Advising a UK private equity firm on the renegotiation and redrafting of IP assignment and licensing arrangements for the transfer of various IP rights in market-leading software allowing real-time polling and moderated discussion platform for AGMs and other statutory meetings.
