Stefan focuses on data protection advice and provides continuous data protection advice to DLA Piper's clients as well as regarding specific issues, and has extensive experience in data protection proceedings before the Austrian Data Protection Authority. Stefan has advised in various GDPR implementation projects and continuously advises clients on various GDPR issues, including data breaches. Examples of Stefan's work in the field of data protection include specific projects such as advising a major Austrian bank on Austrian data protection issues in the course of pre-trial discovery in the US as well as in relation to various intra-group data transfers, and advising a large number of Austrian and international clients on all aspects of data protection, specifically data transfer within the EU and to non-EU-countries, on a continuous basis.
