David has been advising on Private Equity and M&A deals for more than 30 years. His work encompasses advice to private equity houses, management teams, private companies and entrepreneurs.
David is based in the UK but has handled many cross border transactions including representing DLA Piper on its own European mergers. David has headed DLA Piper’s Corporate and Private Equity groups and is Chair of Trustees of a charity supporting destitute asylum seekers.

  • Advised the management of The Fertility Partnership, the UK’s leading provider of fertility treatment, on its Impilo funded buyout.
  • Advised HIG Capital on its investments in Small Steps, Synseal, Aircom and Kondor.
  • Advised Lloyds Development Capital and other selling shareholders on the sale of Capital Economics the economics consultancy led by renowned economist Roger Bootle.
