Aaron Trebble is an experienced intellectual property litigator and also maintains a practice in contentious data protection. He has a particular interest in issues affecting software and technology businesses, and technology issues in the public sector, and regularly advises on matters such as ownership and licensing of software, disputes about rights ownership and software defects.

Aaron’s intellectual property experience encompasses a wide range of contentious and non-contentious advice including trade mark prosecution, brand protection, patent, trade mark, copyright and design infringement, counterfeit and imitation products, passing off, domain name and company name disputes as well as transactional corporate and commercial matters.

Aaron’s contentious data protection work covers disputes relating to issues such as subject access requests and defending compensation claims for distress or other damage. He provides tactical advice to assist in resolving small individual claims as well as complex matters involving multiple claimants.

Aaron is experienced in High Court proceedings, including in particular applying for and defending applications for urgent injunctions and other interim relief. He routinely advises on using the court process and procedures effectively to achieve dispute resolution.
