Please join DLA Piper for a screening of our firm-produced film At What Cost?, an award-winning corporate drama that offers viewers a window into meetings among directors and senior officers during a compliance crisis. 1.5 hours of CLE credit is available for your attendance at the viewing and discussion of the film. The film depicts a fictional corporation dealing with a number of real-world legal and regulatory issues, among them: 
  • the drive for corporate growth and strategic shift toward new business ventures 
  • the litigation and regulatory environment faced by board members, general counsel and senior business executives 
  • the implications of these factors in handling investigations, reporting and stakeholder interests 
The showing will be punctuated with interactive discussions led by DLA Piper Co- Managing Partner of the Americas, Stasia Kelly and Of Counsel, Sam Snider. Stasia is former General Counsel of Sears, AIG, MCI/WorldCom and Fannie Mae. Sam is former Chief Legal & Compliance Officer of Greenway Health.

California: This activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 1.5 hours in the Ethics category. DLA Piper certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education activities prescribed in the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education.

New York: This nontransitional and transitional continuing legal education program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the Continuing Legal Education Board for a maximum of 1.5 credit hours, of which 1.5 credit hours can be applied toward the Ethics requirement.

New Jersey: This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.8 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 1.8 qualify as hours of credit toward the Ethics category.

CLE credit will be applied for in other states where DLA Piper has an office except in Minnesota, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
