DLA Piper and Campos Mello Advogados partners bring the intricacies of the Brazilian business market to Israel

On May 22, our global Israel practice group hosted more than 40 guests for Doing Business in Brazil, the sixth event in our Signature Breakfast Series, in Tel Aviv. Latin America Practice Chair Stuart Berkson (Chicago/São Paulo), René Gelman and Adriano Chaves (both Campos Mello Advogados in São Paulo) presented legal and strategic insights for foreign investors in Brazil. Head of the Israel Practice Group Jeremy Lustman (Tel Aviv/Washington, DC) and Paul Jayson (London) organized the breakfast series, which brings international speakers to private networking events for the Israeli business and legal communities.

Earlier events in the Signatures Breakfast Series have covered legal topics relating to social media and gaming in Europe, doing business in Australia, oil and gas opportunities in Africa and distressed acquisitions in the United States. In addition, in the last year, our global Israel practice group has also hosted/sponsored our inaugural Global Real Estate Conference, a business development event focused on Israel-Korea collaboration, various Israel-related business conferences/events in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego and Paris, and two delegations of Israeli companies looking for business opportunities in the United Kingdom.
