DLA Piper receives University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law's Black Law Students Association Firm Diversity Award

DLA Piper is pleased to announce it is a recipient of the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law's Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Firm Diversity Award. The firm was recognized for its support of the school's Diversity and Inclusion Scholars Initiative. The award was presented at the BLSA 43rd Annual Scholarship & Awards banquet on March 2.

Baltimore-based partners Guy Flynn and Thiru Vignarajah accepted the award on behalf of the firm. The Diversity and Inclusion Scholars Initiative annually offers financial and professional support to select academically talented first-year students at Maryland Carey Law. Diversity Scholars are required to show demonstrated leadership and an ability to overcome challenges to their professional values and career goals.
