DLA Piper today announces the formation of a Change Council to spearhead and prioritise an agenda of radical change across the firm. The Change Council is part of DLA Piper's wider long-term strategy to evolve the traditional structure and expectations of a law firm in the new everywhere-connected, platform-driven, global economy.
Chaired by Global Co-CEO, Simon Levine, the Change Council comprises 13 partners, fee earners and senior professionals from across the International business who have demonstrated passion and commitment to drive forward developments in the use of data science, digital solutions, legal delivery processes and business advisory services across the firm.
Simon Levine, Global Co-CEO at DLA Piper, commented: "Fundamental changes are happening in the legal industry and, as a firm well-known for its entrepreneurial spirit, we are excited about the opportunities ahead . We have spent a number of years putting the right foundations in place and improving our processes to ensure we meet the needs of our clients over the coming years. Now we are driving a fundamental change in mindset across our business to embrace radical change and evolve and expand our business through partnering with our clients to help them to succeed in our changing world."
Selected from almost 100 applications, the Change Council has already begun work to frame DLA Piper's priorities for radical change and is in the process of assigning other successful applicants to Change Teams who will collaborate on the roll out of products, services and ways of working in support of the agenda.
