DLA Piper advises FTI Consulting on 120,000-square-foot lease at 1166 Avenue of the Americas

DLA Piper represented global management advisory firm FTI Consulting in its agreement with Edward J. Minskoff Equities to lease 120,720 square feet of office space at 1166 Avenue of the Americas, which will serve as the firm’s new headquarters.

FTI will consolidate several offices to occupy the entire 14th, 15th and 16th floors of the 44-story Manhattan building, located between West 45th and West 46th streets.

“We were pleased to assist FTI Consulting with this transaction. Our extensive experience handling complex lease negotiations was a key factor in our ability to complete this agreement – one of the largest Manhattan office leases in the past six months,” said Bruce Saber, the DLA Piper partner who led the firm’s deal team.

Along with Saber, the DLA Piper team advising FTI included associate Genta Stafaj and Samuel Grubner (all of New York).

DLA Piper's Real Estate team offers a full range of services in areas including, among other things, acquisitions and dispositions, construction law, financing, commercial real estate, land use, planning and development, leasing, environmental law, insurance and tax.
