DLA Piper recognized as a top litigation firm, named a Powerhouse firm for class action and cybersecurity litigation by BTI Consulting Group

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that it was recognized as a “most feared” law firm in litigation in BTI Consulting Group’s BTI Litigation Outlook 2022: Post-Pandemic and Beyond report and was named a “Powerhouse” – the highest rating in the report, representing the top 1 percent of all law firms – for class action and cybersecurity litigation.

DLA Piper was one of 39 law firms identified as the firms clients “least want to see on the other side of the table in litigation” in the report, which examines changes, trends and opportunities in the litigation market and its outlook over the next 18 months. The firm was also named a “Leader” in IP litigation, securities & finance litigation, complex commercial litigation and commercial litigation, and a “Standout” firm for complex employment litigation and product liability litigation.

“These recognitions showcase our ability to deliver business-oriented solutions across a wide range of litigation matters, leveraging our tremendous litigation talent, sector experience, and geographic coverage all at once,” said Loren Brown, DLA Piper’s US vice chair and chair of the US Disputes practice. “They also showcase our ability to deliver diverse teams that collaborate seamlessly across many jurisdictions and practice areas in our clients’ most significant matters.”

The BTI Litigation Outlook 2022 report is produced by BTI Consulting Group, an independent market research and intelligence firm, and is based on more than 350 in-depth interviews with leading legal decision-makers at organizations across a number of industries, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, energy, financial services, consumer goods, insurance, real estate and telecommunications.
