Sid Burke has a varied corporate and securities practice focused on mergers, acquisitions and other complex business transactions.

He advises investment funds with varied strategies (including private equity, growth equity and venture capital) in structuring, negotiating and executing portfolio company investments and financings, and counsels funds in their formation and internal governance.

He also has represented public companies on an ongoing basis, and he regularly counsels senior management, corporate boards and controlling stockholders with respect to mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, corporate governance, disclosure and securities regulations.

Sid is co-chair of DLA Piper's New York corporate practice group. He also serves as the chair of the firm's pro bono committee for the New York office and is a member of DLA Piper's North American Pro Bono Committee. He previously served as hiring partner for DLA Piper's New York office.
