Kristina Neff Burland represents US and international clients in complex civil litigation and government investigations. Kristina regularly represents clients in the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of products liability and mass torts litigation. Kristina also has experience in complex commercial litigation matters and government investigations, including investigations conducted by the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.

In addition to her litigation practice, Kristina regularly assists companies with the design, enhancement, and implementation of global compliance programs, with a focus on the development of compliance programs consistent with anti-corruption laws such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). These enterprise-wide programs include conducting risk assessments, drafting codes of conduct and ethics, drafting corporate policies and creating and implementing training programs. In this capacity, Kristina routinely assists clients with identifying the risks facing their business and tailoring a compliance program to meet their risk profile.

Kristina also has advised multinational companies on cybersecurity liability risk assessments and incident response plans to assist clients with the development of technical and organizational infrastructures designed to safeguard data in compliance with industry-recognized standards and to minimize legal exposure under federal and state laws.
