Tim Chen advises leading multinational companies on legal issues related to expansion and international business. Tim regularly advises multinational companies on securities, tax, data privacy, regulatory, corporate, exchange control, and employment issues in Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
Tim is a guest lecturer in leading universities in China, including Peking University, Fudan University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Prior to joining the firm, Tim worked as a COST Fellow at Council on State Taxation. During law school, he was a fellow for the Institute of International Economic Law, an extern at the DC Office of Tax and Revenues, a Senior Editor of The Tax Lawyer, and a judicial intern for the US Bankruptcy Court.
