Lesley Chuang's practice focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical, life science, and medical device companies in a variety of disputes, including multidistrict product liability litigation and complex commercial litigation.

Lesley is a member of DLA Piper's Product Liability and Mass Torts group and PFAS Task Force. She has litigated in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine. Lesley is experienced in toxic tort litigation and regulatory compliance and has counseled clients on issues involving emerging contaminants, in particular the state of the law and science of PFAS across the U.S. Lesley holds a graduate degree in molecular biology and genetics. Prior to law school, she performed research in developmental biology and reproductive medicine and co-authored several studies in peer-reviewed journals. 

In addition to her litigation practice, Lesley is actively involved in pro bono and has experience with asylum and special immigrant juvenile status matters. She also co-chairs the Mass Torts & Class Actions Committee at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Senior Associates Forum at the Boston Bar Association. Moreover, Lesley mentors and supports law students and new lawyers through the Legal Mentor Network and the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts.
