Whitney Cloud concentrates her practice in appellate advocacy and complex litigation matters, ranging from defending multi-district class action disputes to briefing novel statutory issues of first impression.  Drawing on her experience as a former federal prosecutor and Chief of Appeals, she advises clients on all stages of litigation, from government investigation through appeal.

Whitney joined from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware, where she prosecuted complex criminal cases involving bank fraud, money laundering and cybercrime before the District of Delaware and defended the Office’s trial victories in the Third Circuit.  She advises clients on the implications of new state and federal enforcement regimes, and crafts arguments challenging both government and private litigants on grounds of jurisdiction, preemption, and statutory authority.
