Dan Cole

Dan Cole offers nearly two decades of experience in joint venture and real estate transactions, with a concentration in the multi-family sector. Notably, Dan worked in house for Equity Residential, where he assisted in structuring all development joint ventures for the company's portfolio which, at the time, consisted of $1.6+ billion of development projects across the United States.

In addition to joint ventures, Dan is involved in all areas of commercial real estate and development, including property acquisitions/dispositions, financing, restructurings, complex tax planning, development agreements, and design and construction contracts. Dan's experience includes representing various cannabis companies in connection with sale leaseback and leasing transactions and corporate acquisitions. Dan also has extensive experience in corporate transactions, which includes early-stage investments in emerging growth companies on behalf of venture capital funds and entrepreneurs; structuring of private placement offerings; equity and convertible debt investments; asset and stock transactions; and tax credit financing transactions, including new markets tax credits and historic tax credits.

In addition to his law degree, Dan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
