Dean Dalke is a partner in the firm's Vancouver office where he is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations Group. His practice is focused on commercial and civil disputes and regulatory matters.

Dean brings over a decade of litigation experience in serving his clients who include a wide range of businesses such as large corporations, energy companies, aboriginal bands, and high-net worth individuals in a variety of industries, including forestry and energy.

Dean’s clients benefit from his advice in a variety of areas particularly contractual, shareholder, partnership disputes and real estate disputes as well as professional negligence, employment, energy, administrative and regulatory matters.

He has represented clients before all levels of courts in British Columbia, including the BC Supreme Court and the BC Court of Appeal. He is also experienced in alternate dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, and seeks opportunities to resolve disputes early and cost effectively.

In 2014, Dean was named one of the Lexpert® Rising Stars: Leading Lawyer Under 40.

Before completing his articles, Dean was a law clerk to three justices of the BC Court of Appeal.

During law school Dean co-founded, a journal of electronic culture, which attracted 100,000 readers a month at its height.
